Less odor! It’s hurts my nose when I used it for the first few times gotta wear mask. Needs more work on a odorless resinsThe resin I received cures rock hard. I have a fairly powerful UV flashlight that cures a small volume in mere seconds. I have yet to try the included light. I got this for edge sealing printed labels, so I put down a thin layer.Very thin product. Hard to domeI just opened this product to use on my badge reels. Upon opening it was very thick and like globs of resin. Like it’s curing inside the bottle. I wish I could return and get my money back but I’m 5 days out of the return window. This is the worst resin in ever used. Will never buy it again.IF you are planning on purchasing this resin kit with the intention of making VERY SMALL jewelry items— this may be the right product for you.With that said, below you’ll find a product summary, highlights of my experience while using this resin kit— and a few major takeaways that I think you should know prior to purchasing this set!☺️• THE RESIN:—> It should be noted that this resin is EXTREMELY thin. It’s probably one of the most liquid-y resins I’ve used, to date. The lack of viscosity, however— may be just fine for SMALL resin jewelry crafters, who expect to be using tiny molds.• THE MINI UV RESIN-CURING LAMP:—> It is *possible* that this lamp would be sufficient enough to properly harden the resin provided— for those who will be making VERY TINY resin crafts.—> With that said, I would NOT depend on the mini UV lamp to fully cure any medium-sized resin projects. It just won’t be able to get the job done— at least not efficiently or in a timely manner.MY OWN EXPERIENCE:• Personally, I had to monitor my high-powered UV resin-curing lamp over the course of 6+ hours (per side*), before my small to medium-sized bookmark was safe to touch.• I did ATTEMPT to use the Mini UV Lamp (numerous times), but it just wasn’t cutting it.—> The resin still appeared to be unset, remaining in a clearly, visibly liquid state after (more than) 6 rounds of UV curing (1 round = the max time the instructions stated would be needed in order to cure each side).• After more than enough time had passed with my bookmark curing underneath of the UV lamp (based on my having completed a variety of similar projects in the past)— I went to go eyeball my bookmark, and then just confirm with a very light “touch test” that the outer layer had indeed hardened.• During the touch test, I ended up leaving a very noticeable fingerprint on my new resin bookmark…and that was at the 8.5 hour mark (since first being placed under my high-powered, UV resin-curing lamp)!?OVERALL ANALYSIS:• While this kit wasn’t ideal for my medium to large-sized resin mold projects— it wasn’t advertised to work for larger resin projects! So I cannot blame my own experience on the product itself.• I am going to remove 1-star, due to the fact that the Mini UV Lamp just….didn’t seem to work, at all.• After my project failed, I received some new resin molds in the mail for some very tiny jewelry. I proceeded to try hardening 3 different pieces, of varying depth ranging from 1-3 MM.• In all 3 trial pieces— the Mini UV lamp could not cure any of the pieces properly (after being placed under the lamp, for the max time listed to cure resin projects in the provided instructions).RATING & FINAL TAKEAWAYS:• Overall, I would rate this resin kit at 4 out of 5-stars!?• I would recommend this product— but only to those making very small jewelry pieces, or other tiny, miscellaneous accessories.• Regardless of what you plan on making— I would highly recommend that you plan on using your own, high-powered UV resin curing lamp.• I would not recommend purchasing this kit for the UV lamp, alone.*IF* YOU ARE DEPENDING ON USING *ONLY* THE INCLUDED, MINI UV LAMP TO QUICKLY CURE YOUR (SMALL) RESIN PROJECTS— I WOULD NOT recommend this product for you!I hope that you found my review to be thorough & helpful!☺️This stuff is a little better than the kind you mix together, but it still has an overwhelming chemical smell. The results are good, but I have learned that I don't like working with resin. If the smell doesn't bother you, this is quality resin that is easy to use and cure. I also didn't realize it got so hot when curing, although that didn't freak me out as much as the smell.I’ve tried several UV resins and this one dried as clear as glass and also cured much harder than others I’ve tried. This one was clearly better and there were even less small bubbles trapped from pouring it in the mold. I The UV lamp that came with it was only OK so I ended up using a lamp I already had, but I didn’t order for the lamp anyway.
